I LOVE digital e-Books because....
I get instant gratification when I order them! : ) I actually have come to love e-books for several reasons.
- They don't take up valuable space on my bookshelves
- I don't have to dust them
- They hyperlink directly to resources and I don't have to type the URLs
- The pages don't turn yellow or get destroyed by coffee
- My cat can't throw up on them
- I can easily printout the best parts - no need to use the copier.
- I can easily find the exact book I need on my computer using the find feature or my Google Desktop Search.
- I can put them on a CD-ROM or Flash Drive to take with me when traveling. It's a lot less to pack. Of course I need my laptop to view them. But that's okay...I usually need it with me anyway when I travel.
But not this vacation! FYI, I'll be on vacation celebrating my 5th anniversary with my husband, Alan in the Dominican Republic with no computer, basking in the sun, and reading my old fashioned books from June 24 - July 9. You know - the kind that are already printed out for you! : )
I'm working on setting up some posts to auto post. In fact this is an auto-post. Cool huh! I wrote this last week..and it's publishing today. Love it!!!
Anyway, don't be afraid to try e-books. You can always print them out if you want to read them in the bathtub!
